About myself
My name is Aivaras. I am a music artist: composer, performer, and sound engineer, creating and recording at Garsų menė, a hybrid studio based in Kaunas, Lithuania, equipped with state-of-the-art analog and digital gear.
My musical journey began as early as 1983, when I started taking clarinet lessons at a children’s school of music and completed my classical training at a conservatory. I then built a career in popular music, at first as a touring band member and solo singer, later as a composer and sound engineer.
My work in the recording studio extends over two decades, with hundreds of productions in classical, popular, and applied music. I also pursue music as an art form for the pure enjoyment of it.

E-MU Proteus 2500
I’ve been playing this synth since 2003. The owner of the store where I bought it said, “Aivaras, you’ll keep it for a few years and sell it because it will be outdated by then.” He’d be happy to learn he was wrong! 20 years have passed, and I’m still fascinated by this instrument.
