Unlike most pop music albums released in Lithuania, Sage & Fool is not a random patchwork of songs accumulated over a long period of time, but a conceptual and cohesive work. The carefully considered structure of the album unites songs that are stylistically quite diverse, yet connected by related themes and moods, shaping them into a smooth and fully realized whole. In creating Sage & Fool, Aivaras essentially played two roles—on the one hand, as the songwriter and performer, and on the other, as the music producer and sound designer.
